About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Manager Rare Diseases to lead our medical strategy for the rare diseases portfolio in Iberia. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global biopharmaceutical group focused on innovation and specialized care in oncology, neurosciences, and rare diseases.

Main Responsibilities

Develop and execute the medical strategy for our rare diseases portfolio, aligned with the Global Medical Plan.
Manage medical projects and provide scientific information to internal and external stakeholders.
Develop and maintain knowledge about Ipsen's rare diseases portfolio and therapeutic area.
Conduct scientific exchange meetings at the national level and support HCPs, including thought leaders.
Collaborate closely with MSLs and other departments such as Commercial and Market Access.
Ensure compliance with EFPIA codes, local guidelines, and Ipsen SOPs.

Requirements

University degree in Biomedical Sciences, MSc, PhD, MD, or PharmD.
2-4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in Medical Affairs, with experience in rare diseases being a plus.
Expert/fluent communicator in Spanish and English.
Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
Strategic thinking and strong analytical and numerical skills.
Ability to build strong relationships and work in a team.
