The University Hospital Vall d'Hebron is a leading institution in rare diseases, recognized regionally, nationally, and internationally. It has been incorporated as a full member of 20 European Reference Networks (ERN), with ERN-EuroBloodNet being dedicated to Rare Hematological Diseases (RHD). Dr. Mañú Pereira leads the scientific direction of ERN-EuroBloodNet, heading the Rare Anemia Disorders research lab within the "CANCER Y ENFERMEDADES HEMATOLOGICAS INFANTILES" group. As part of ERN-EuroBloodNet, the team undertakes several projects at the European level focusing on rare haematological diseases. The Rare Anaemia Disorders European Epidemiological Platform (RADeep) is an initiative endorsed by ERN-EuroBloodNet, under the European Blood Disorders Platform (ENROL) umbrella, officially endorsed by the European Hematology Association (EHA) for European patients' registries on rare haematological diseases. RADeep aims to collect standardized data from patients affected by Rare Anaemia Disorders (RADs) across Europe, ensuring public benefit through data sharing while promoting interoperability standards for patient registries. This platform enables epidemiological surveillance and disease burden assessment of RADs in the European Union. Our primary goal is to drive data-driven research for RADs in Europe using Real World Data (RWD). We are seeking an experienced Scientific Delivery Coordinator to manage scientific projects across multidisciplinary teams and the private sector, ensuring timely execution and high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities and Duties: Scientific Project Coordination. Develop project strategy, Gantt chart, distribution of tasks, milestones, and deliverables. Ensure smooth project execution by coordinating multidisciplinary teams and identifying internal needs, risks, and elaborating mitigation plans to achieve objectives. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in biosciences and at least 2 years of experience in scientific project management or coordination. Knowledge of healthcare data regulations and English proficiency (B2) are essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team are also required. A Master's degree or Ph.D. would be advantageous. Training in Good Clinical Practice is desirable. French/Italian language proficiency would be beneficial. Estimated salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum.
