Job Summary

Valeo, a leading global automotive supplier, is seeking a highly skilled Test and Validation Design Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Research and Development department, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement product test strategies based on customer and Valeo standards specifications and risk analysis.
  • Support project teams in compatibility matrix and risk analysis, contributing to the development of product family validation standards.
  • Document design validation plans, including environmental and functional validation test plans, in collaboration with product architects.
  • Plan and quote necessary actions to run design validation, including number of parts, jigs, subcomponents, headcount, and test bench costs.
  • Ensure validation conditions and planning feasibility are within project commitments.
  • Coordinate product integrations and validation activities, including regulations, functional, system, optics, mechanics, and EE tests.
  • Secure report archiving in TMT and report issues at the first level of analysis and progress through Design Validation & Review dashboard (KPIs).
  • Report project validation risks assessment to the R&D PTM in Design Validation phase.
  • Responsible for RAISE Validation metier review management.
  • Release the DV&R with validation status to be approved by the Test & Validation Manager and provide the design validation & review report to the R&D PTM.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in engineering (general technical engineering knowledge: embedded electronics, mechanics, software, optical system).
  • 3-7 years of experience in testing of embedded products (functional and/or environmental) and experience in project development/validation management.
  • Advanced level of English.
  • Passion for the automotive industry.
