Main Responsibilities- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Provide accurate and timely financial information to support business decisions, including variance and root cause analysis.
- Month-End Closing Activities: Ensure timely submission of legal entity reporting packages, align with Sulzer standards, and maintain accuracy of financial records.
- Training and Development: Prepare and deliver training to legal entities worldwide on reporting and consolidation system matters.
- Business Review Presentation: Contribute to the monthly preparation of the business review presentation.
- Ad-Hoc Reporting: Perform various ad-hoc reporting requests to equip the business with financial understanding.
- Cost Control and CAPEX Management: Monitor and control HQ Cost Centers and CAPEX spending.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Actively support Budgeting and Forecasting processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives for the controlling function.
- Automation and Process Optimization: Drive automation of reports (QlikSense, QlikView, Sharepoint) and finance process optimization.
- Education: Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting, Finance, or Controlling.
- Experience: Min. 3 years of experience in financial analysis or controlling, preferably in corporate finance.
- Skills: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge, experience with consolidation systems, SAP (FI/CO modules), and business application tools.
- Personal Qualities: Strong analytical personality, high energy to drive for results, strong problem-solving, and ability to prioritize responsibilities, tasks, and processes.
- Language: Fluency in English, German is beneficial.
