Design to Value Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design to Value Engineer to lead our team in driving product margin enhancements through cross-collaboration and idea generation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead reverse engineering and benchmarking activities to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage and improve the Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) processes.
  • Support analysis related to improvements in operations and manufacturing processes.
  • Organize and facilitate cross-functional workshops to drive innovation and knowledge sharing.
  • Perform product and process cost analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Gather and analyze product cost and technical data to inform decision-making.
  • Utilize idea management tools to drive innovation and implementation.
  • Coordinate activities and support site teams in workshop and idea implementation stages.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, product design, or related areas.
  • Good command of English for effective communication in an international environment.
  • Strong coaching skills to provide training and development for the organization.
  • Working knowledge of new product introduction, manufacturing processes, design for manufacturability, and design for assembly principles.
  • Demonstrated commitment to product and process improvement.
  • Change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization.
