Job Title: PCB & Electronic Design Engineer

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled PCB & Electronic Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative projects.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented engineer with a strong background in PCB and FPC design, materials, and manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new projects, leading and participating in design and development activities, and providing innovative design support for product improvement and cost reduction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support new projects in the R&D phase and RFQ for clients
  • Lead and participate in design and development activities from concept to introduction of new or improved FPC/PCB designs to the project team and client
  • Visit clients and suppliers to support product and process presentations
  • Provide innovative design support for product improvement, cost reduction, material selection, process improvements, validation, and other technical support activities
  • Review client requirements and provide a preliminary FPC/PCB design and lead the review of 2D and 3D
  • Create design concepts 2D, 3D, and schematic, material BOM. Generate design proposals in the form of CAD, schematic, and layout
  • Perform design reviews to determine the viability of the design and design for manufacturing
  • Prototype and validate product design
  • Support operations in the manufacturing process environment
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in similar positions/functions
  • Strong knowledge of PCB and/or FPC design, materials, and manufacturing processes, technologies, and techniques for a cost-effective design
  • Experience in projects from the automotive sector is valued
  • Knowledge of vehicle hybrid/electric technologies, battery systems - CCS (Cell Contact System)
  • Experience in product and process validation
  • Good understanding of high-voltage safety and design aspects required
