Join Our Team as a Frontend Software Engineer

We're seeking a talented Frontend Software Engineer to join our team at Proofpoint, a leading cybersecurity company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge interfaces that our Fortune 500 customers use to protect their people and assets.

About the Role

As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will be working on our latest security product team, developing web interfaces that offer high performance while exploring large amounts of data. You will collaborate closely with API and Backend developers to power your interfaces and develop automation to deploy, test, and monitor your work.

Responsibilities
  • Design, code, review, test, and deploy software features in our application stack.
  • Prototype, evaluate, and iterate on software solutions to hard problems.
  • Work closely with product and UX to bring the best solution to market.
  • Collaborate across teams and follow Agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, etc.
  • Grow your career by working with a talented team full of diverse experience and skills.
Requirements
  • Must have experience developing software in a high-uptime customer-focused environment.
  • Must have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited school in an engineering-related field.
  • Must have knowledge of modern patterns for how frontend systems interact with backend code.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS, modern JavaScript, ReactJS preferred; other technologies including but not limited to Typescript, Angular, and NodeJS will be considered.
