Product Innovation Manager

Join Allianz as a Product Innovation Manager and contribute to the profitable growth of our Home Line of Business. As a key member of our Product Management and Innovation (PM&I) team, you will be responsible for identifying global/local market trends and opportunities, client needs, and competitive developments for services. Your expertise will help us assess market size and share, design global Home product development & improvement, and establish a growth axis for the line of business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market & Customer Research: Identify global/local market trends and opportunities, client needs, and competitive developments for services.
- Product & Strategic Planning: Contribute to the design of global Home product development & improvement, with specific focus on insurance/assistance products and warranties.
- Leading MVP/POCs: Implement all new/enhanced products by steering and coordinating other involved functions.
- Supporting Product Implementation: Analyze and monitor partner and customer satisfaction, including market feedback to enhance our value proposition.
- Developing Materials: Create materials around our products and value proposition, including training materials to support different stakeholders.
- Coordinating and Collaborating: Work with all relevant stakeholders to fulfill AZ standards.
- Supporting Global Projects: Contribute to global projects related to the Home Line of Business.
- Country Coordination: Coordinate with regional/country PMI activities to secure consistency in deliveries and coordinate all feedback to global.
- Sales Enablement: Support sales and communications efforts across all channels and design sales training and support materials.
Requirements:
- Masters' degree in business administration or product management.
- 5+ years' experience in Product development, Sales, or Underwriting, ideally in the financial services or insurance industry, focused on Home Line of Business and assistance products and warranties.
- Good understanding of insurance/assistance products and capabilities.
- Strategic mindset and analytical skills.
- Interest in innovation.
- High level of customer orientation.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, able to produce high-quality deliverables.
- High degree of self-organization, ownership, team spirit, and decisiveness as well as project steering.
- Autonomous, self-driven, and results-driven.
- Fluent in English and German or French; Spanish is a must.
