Key Responsibilities- Analyze and resolve technical issues related to maintenance, reliability, and overhaul of our systems.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize system performance and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to maintenance teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, test procedures, and maintenance instructions.
- Conduct regular reviews of maintenance, reliability, and overhaul documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Act as a technical expert and develop expertise in selected fields to support the development of new technologies and processes.
- Propose and define the insertion of technology to improve system performance and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain local repair capabilities, including electronic repair of APS and Agate2 systems.
- Support the optimization of maintenance schedules and casualty repair procedures based on service experience and operations feedback.
- Support the production of preventive, corrective, and overhaul Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analyses and optimization.
- Recognized engineering qualification.
- High-level Spanish language skills and technical-level English language skills.
- Coordination and management ability.
- Experience in RS Warranty.
- Good knowledge of railway systems.
- Previous LCC experience.
- Good understanding of railway maintenance requirements and costs.
- Previous vehicle reliability/safety engineering experience, preferably in a railway background.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Resilience and sense of hard work.
