About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineering Manager to join our team at Alstom in Barcelona. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and availability of our Tramway systems, including Rolling Stock, Signalling, and Power systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and resolve engineering technical issues
  • Prepare and attend contractual failures meetings
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation
  • Review and update maintenance, reliability, and overhaul documents
  • Act as a technical expert and develop expertise in selected fields
  • Propose and implement technology insertion
  • Develop local repair ability and demonstrate business case for localisation of maintenance activity
Requirements
  • Recognised engineering qualification
  • High-level Spanish and technical-level English
  • Coordination and management ability
  • Experience in RS Warranty and railway systems
  • Good knowledge of railway maintenance requirements and costs
  • Excellent communication skills
