About the Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Employee Relations Specialist to join our team at Adobe Systems in Spain. As a key member of our EMEA Employee Relations team, you will play a critical role in resolving complex employment matters and providing guidance on policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consultation on disciplinary actions and involuntary terminations, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Coach managers and employees on performance management, promoting high employee engagement and productivity.
  • Advise managers on employees' individual issues, such as returning from long leave and reintegration plans, as well as employee wellbeing.
  • Advise HR Business Partners and the business on how to handle reorganizations from an Employee Resource perspective.
  • MEDIATE conflicts amongst employees, promoting a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Develop a constructive and collaborative relationship with our Spain Works Council, ensuring effective communication and cooperation.
  • Collaborate with the Works Council Lead (EMEA) to drive consistency of approach across all EMEA Works Councils.
  • Collaborate with the Employment legal department, Centers of Excellence, and HR Business Partners to provide general consultation on employee relations and employment law topics.
  • Participate in projects, regionally and internationally, to scale as we grow and provide outstanding outcomes and experience for our internal customers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in employee relations, HR, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly in the EMEA region.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, managers, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide sound advice and guidance.
