Job Description
The successful candidate will support our Engineering Business Operations team, working closely with cross-functional departments to harmonize and optimize processes, drive operational efficiency, and achieve excellence in the organization.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about engineering and business operations, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and optimization of engineering operational processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support business operations by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform decision-making.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to monitor project progress, track deliverables, and maintain schedules.
- Help with budget planning and resource management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives.
- Manage operational risks by identifying and mitigating potential challenges.
- Research industry trends, operational best practices, and new technologies.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Biotech, or Business Administration.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, JIRA, Trello).
- Data query languages (e.g., Python, R), business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau), dashboard design, information design, and visualization of data for education and decision-making.
- Process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
