Job Title: General Ledger Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled General Ledger Accountant to join our team at AWWG. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for assisting in the Group accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the accounting activities of group subsidiaries, including analysis of sales and margins, general ledger provisions, and operating expenses review.
  • Submit VAT, Intrastat, and other tax reports on a monthly basis.
  • Participate in all Balance Sheet GLs reconciliations and collaborate in monthly management accounts preparation.
  • Assist the Finance Manager in Spanish Group Reporting pack preparation and Statutory annual financial statements of the company.
  • Work to achieve deadlines and prepare ad hoc analysis and participate in Group projects.
  • Be responsible for the ecommerce of the group.
Requirements:
  • Accounting experience, with at least 1 year working in a similar position, preferably in a retail or wholesale company.
  • IT skills, with essential Excel skills and desirable SAP and BI skills.
  • Fluent English language skills.
