About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sportstyle Apparel Design Lead to join our team at Puma. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and stylish apparel designs that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement design concepts that align with Puma's brand vision and aesthetic
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to ensure design meets business objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends and consumer insights to inform design decisions
  • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure design feasibility and quality
  • Manage and maintain design files, including sketches, prototypes, and digital designs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Fashion, or relevant field of study
  • 2+ years of experience in fashion, sportswear, or casual sports lifestyle design
  • Deep understanding of streetwear and fashion consumer needs, as well as knowledge of lifestyle market and high-fashion trends
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with 3D design skills a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work autonomously and adapt to change quickly
  • Tremendous attention to detail and exceptional time-management skills
