As a Data Infrastructure Specialist at Excibit Solutions Spain, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data infrastructure and pipelines that support business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with business leaders to understand business opportunities and drive the development of data infrastructure and pipelines.
  2. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality of new releases.
  3. Learn and share knowledge across engineering teams to improve data infrastructure and pipelines.
  4. Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant database systems.
  5. Collaborate on the integration of data storage solutions.
  6. Focus on performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, and automation.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. 2+ years of experience building and testing data pipelines and modeling data for validation.
  2. Familiarity with a stack including Python, Kubernetes, Docker, Scala, Terraform, Kafka, Hive, Spark, and Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  3. Experience working with cloud-based execution infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  4. Passion for designing elegant data infrastructure and pipelines.
  5. Conceptual understanding of statistical methodologies and many machine learning algorithms with demonstrated application.
  6. Excellent communication skills and passion for solving tough technical problems.
  7. Ability to work with stakeholders and translate their needs and expectations into action items and deliverables.
  8. Good understanding of Agile development methodology and techniques.
  9. Fluent in English.
