About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Importante empresa. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure to support our growing business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement high-availability Dockerized microservices
  2. Launch services in Kubernetes and deploy releases to production and staging environments
  3. Improve our CI/CD pipeline and build and maintain monitoring tools, including logging, performance, uptime, and tracing
  4. Optimize database performance and help with tooling and development
  5. Collaborate with the team to propose and architect new features
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Excellent Linux skills and 2+ years of experience with Docker
  2. Experience with cloud environments, particularly Google Cloud
  3. Knowledge of Python development and experience with databases, including NoSQL
  4. Understanding of API standards, such as REST, JSON-RPC, and SOAP/XML
  5. Experience with Git and the CLI, as well as API clients like Postman or Insomnia
  6. Monitoring experience, preferably with Grafana
  7. Excellent written and oral communication skills
