We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our team at WorldStrides. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating logistics, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring seamless execution of program itineraries.
Key Responsibilities- Logistics Coordination: Develop comprehensive itinerary proposals, reserve and book services, and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality service delivery.
- Cost Control: Oversee operational costs, ensuring budget adherence and accuracy in processing supplier payments.
- Tour Management: Supervise tour itineraries, checking for feasibility and logistics, and allocate services with suppliers, balancing price and quality.
- Invoice Management: Review, approve, and process invoices with accuracy, ensuring timely payment to suppliers.
- Communication: Maintain close communication with internal departments and management, as well as suppliers and vendors.
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English with a second language preferable.
- Cultural Knowledge: Good knowledge of world geography and culture.
- Work Experience: Work experience in a field related to tourism and/or experience abroad preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with all levels of employees.
- Technical Skills: Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new software products.
- Negotiation Skills: Negotiation and budget management skills.
- Time Management: Ability to multi-task projects and responsibilities with strong prioritization skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment across multiple product lines.
