**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Importante Empresa in Barcelona. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the resources of the Credit Department, with the objective of reducing losses due to bad debts, maximizing debt recovery, and improving the client's balance sheet.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Establish effective communication with the customer service department and the sales team to increase the recovery of invoices and past due customer balances.
  • Ensure that disputes are resolved according to responsibilities defined in the procedures (litigation is not resolved by the Credit Management team).
  • Provide key indicators and monthly reports both locally and at the Group level.
  • If necessary, manage relations with collection agencies.
  • Help the organization to create a credit scoring model.
  • Periodically monitor credit reviews.
  • Define and execute Bad Debt Provisions and Write off.

**Requirements**

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in debt claiming is a must.
  • Studies: Degree or High School.
  • Spanish: High level.
  • IT skills: Excel, middle level.
  • Valuable: Experience with SAP and English: high level.
