This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join Amazon, a leading global business and a member of the Mygwork community. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a large and diverse team to ensure the smooth operation of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Safety and Wellbeing: Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing within your team and across the site.
- Quality and Productivity: Analyze and implement corrective actions to maintain consistently high levels of quality and productivity, and meet business objectives across all shifts.
- Team Leadership: Support and lead a team, handle administrative work, and build a strong team culture.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze performance and suggest process improvements to optimize work and improve customer service.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes.
You will work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites. Your main focus will be to maintain safety standards within your team and across the site. You will also monitor and maintain process efficiency. Your days will include prioritizing routine team management and daily operational tasks, as well as individual escalations, process improvement work, and wide-scale operational contingency planning.
As a key part of the operations team, you will work with colleagues in other teams and external partners to ensure we meet customer demands and targets. This will involve analyzing data and performance metrics with leaders in your business area, as well as discussing operational pros and cons of technical improvements with engineers.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree (or working towards a bachelor's degree) is required.
- Language Skills: Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English and local language is required.
- Data Analysis Experience: Relevant experience in performing data analysis is required.

- Communication Skills: Experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
- Logistical Experience: Experience in a logistical working environment.
- MS Office Skills: Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment.
