About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Data Engineer Lead to join our team at Bayer. As a key member of our Data Science and Analytics department, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing cutting-edge clinical data solutions that drive innovation and excellence in our industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of clinical data processing solutions using Medidata and Oracle product suites.
  • Develop and maintain technical tools for data receipt and management from internal and external data providers.
  • Design and execute tasks governed by technical standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and standardize requirements for integration implementation.
  • Participate in software evaluation activities with vendors and IT partners to ensure interoperability and data quality.

Requirements

  • Master's/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in designing and developing clinical data tools and utilities on commonly used technology platforms.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, SQL, PL/SQL, JAVA, and SAS.
  • Knowledge of clinical trial start-up, conduct, and close-out activities, as well as technical best practices.
  • Experience with industry standards for integration technology, such as web services and ODM.xml.
  • Effective time management and communication skills.
