About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Clinical Data Engineer to join our team at Bayer. As a key member of our Data Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of clinical trial data processing solutions using Medidata and Oracle product suites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement technical strategies for data processing and integration across clinical trials
- Lead the setup of technical tools and utilities for data receipt and management
- Design and execute tasks governed by technical standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful study execution
- Participate in software evaluation activities and validation tasks
Requirements:
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in design and development of clinical trial data processing solutions
- Hands-on experience with programming languages such as C#, SQL, PL/SQL, JAVA, SAS
- Knowledge of clinical trial start-up, conduct, and close-out activities and associated technical best practices
- Understanding of industry standards on integration technology such as web services
