This is a dynamic role that requires a strong leader to manage our last mile logistics suppliers. The ideal candidate will have experience in the transportation/3rd party logistics industry and will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, and developing suppliers in their region. They will also act as an interface between Amazon operations and the suppliers, proactively managing the relationship with all delivery service partners.

The successful candidate will ensure that all suppliers are ready to deliver on their required labor and vehicle requirements for peak periods. They will also monitor performance and quality figures, responding to quality/performance challenges with appropriate action plans. Additionally, they will negotiate and review rates with our delivery service partners and work with data to identify trends and generate initiatives to improve metrics.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence others. They should also have experience in contract negotiations and account/supplier management, as well as the related service level performance tracking.
