We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Reconocida Empresa. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with construction projects, ensuring the company's assets and reputation are protected.
- Project Management: Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
- Construction Management: Oversee the construction process, ensuring compliance with Ingka standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Cost Control: Implement and manage cost control measures, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking, to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
- Timeline Management: Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within the agreed-upon timeframe.
- Construction Procurement and Market: Manage the procurement process, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintaining relationships with suppliers and contractors.
- Permission Process: Coordinate with local authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals, ensuring compliance with regulations and laws.
Requirements
- Academic Degree: Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent working experience.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in contracting and/or consulting and/or owners' role involving construction projects.
- MEP Equipment & Systems Specialty: Preferred experience in MEP equipment and systems.
- Language Skills: Fluent Spanish is a must, and ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English.
- Ingka Construction Standards: Preferable knowledge of Ingka construction standards and investment procedures.
