Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Media Relations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our global communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive external communications strategy, encompassing media relations and public relations. Your primary objective will be to drive positive perceptions of our company brand and reputation, ensuring optimal utilization of media channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a global media relations strategy, aligning with our company's communications vision and strategy.
  • Provide strategic communications counsel and external positioning for our company and senior executive leadership, including the CEO.
  • Monitor, track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of our media presence, offering actionable insights and recommendations based on analytics data.
  • Drive alignment between our company's regions, business units, and corporate teams to ensure cohesive and improved use of traditional media channels across all regions.
  • Collaborate with corporate and business unit partners and regions in planning proactive media outreach campaigns.
  • Set global standards and guidelines, driving global governance and quality control.
  • Drive the adoption of new channels and the improvement of existing ones, ensuring unified messaging across platforms.
  • Maintain and build key corporate strategic media relationships while exploring new trends and practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Communications, Journalism, or a related Mass Media field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a media-related position, either in a leading PR firm or within the communications function of a reputed organization.
  • Fluent native English language skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence higher management.
  • Ability to manage cultural differences and adapt to changing environments.
  • Leadership in driving projects, motivating teams, and fostering collaboration.
  • Strong analytical skills.
