Job Title: Material Support Specialist

Job Summary:

Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking a highly skilled Material Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Global Support Centre, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of spares availability services for In Service Support contracts with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the delivery of spares availability services for In Service Support contracts with customers, as per advanced context of Performance Based Logistics programs and in line with contractual requirements.
  2. Deliver results as part of an organisation within ADS Customer Services, providing solutions for spares availability and inventory optimisation services.
  3. Contribute to customers' fleet availability and support the contract manager to ensure profit is achieved for the Company, instead of penalties due to material unavailability.
  4. Ensure the minimization of discrepancies, anticipation of spare needed, avoidance of AOG transportation, and daily operative issues that improve fleet operation.
  5. Increase and maintain customer satisfaction.
  6. Work according to the Services Program Directive, guaranteeing relevant stakeholders' buy-in in the development of support service customised solutions.
  7. Ensure Material Support deliverables to Customer On Quality, On Time, On Cost, working closely with internal areas and local Subsidiary.
  8. Contribute to Reports on Material Services for follow-up meetings with internal and external Customers.

Requirements:

  • Master degree in business administration, engineering, or equivalent.
  • Between 3 and 5 years of experience in activities that have allowed you to acquire skills and knowledge of Material Services, Supply Chain, Project management, and Data management.
  • English: Advanced
  • Spanish: Advanced
