About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Technician to join our team at Hemmersbach. As a Senior IT Onsite Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch onsite support to our clients, ensuring their IT infrastructure is running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite support to clients, resolving technical issues and ensuring minimal downtime.
- Install and configure IT equipment, including data center infrastructure, meeting rooms, and training rooms.
- Perform regular maintenance and checks on IT equipment to prevent issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with our India-based team to resolve complex technical issues and provide remote support.
- Document and update our CMDB to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support, with a focus on onsite support.
- Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including rack and un-rack procedures, cabling, and remote console access.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with ticketing systems and CMDB management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
