Education in Emergency Expert

Ayuda En Acción is seeking an expert in Education in Emergency (EiE) to enhance its role and expertise in the sector. As part of the Emergency Unit, the EiE expert will provide technical expertise and leadership at two levels: at HQ, ensuring the organization's positioning in the sector; at Country Programs level, supporting the improvement of projects/activities and programs quality, providing training, formulation support, monitoring, and evaluation of proposed interventions related to EiE.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop an internal EiE strategy by gathering information and experience raised in Ayuda En Acción.
  • Develop an intervention model in EiE for the organization.
  • Prepare/update capacity statement on Ayuda En Acción projects in EiE and develop advocacy plans for the sector.
  • Support National Programs in the preparation/submission of project proposals and monitoring of actions.
  • Develop necessary tools, guidelines, and protocols for education programs.
  • Coordinate the revision of existing materials and/or development of new ones on EiE.
  • Design, adjust, or revise simple EiE monitoring and evaluation tools.
  • Participate in forums and/or working groups on EiE and lead Ayuda En Acción's participation in INEE network.
  • Advise and accompany National Offices in EiE fora and/or working groups at National Level.
  • Develop EiE training modules and programs.
  • Support high-quality reports.
