The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Business Development Specialist to join our GDF Key Account Team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Key Account Manager to create, negotiate, implement, monitor, and evaluate key account agreements. This support role requires strong analytical skills to analyze sales data and build effective relationships with external business partners and internal stakeholders. The Junior Business Development Specialist will also be responsible for ensuring the effective management of cross-functional projects and tasks, including launches, sales cycles, and marketing planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of cross-functional projects & tasks for KAM (Launches, Sales Cycles etc.)
  • Support KAM in developing the holistic total customer investment strategy (i.e. margin calculation + promotions)
  • Support KAM with annual marketing planning cycles incl. budget planning
  • Work closely with Indirect Touch Point Planners in alignment of brand/commercial calendar and co-develop effective communications to Sales Forces (i.e. Area Managers)
  • Build and maintain solid image for Sin nombre as responsible corporation and preferred business partner, through providing professional and high-quality services to KA

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in FMCG business in one or more of sales, marketing, trade marketing, brand management and account management
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and operational capabilities combined with an inventive mindset
  • Strong problem-solving skills, results orientation, and learning flexibility
  • Well-developed communication / presentation skills
  • Rational decision making
  • Capability of building networks and engage in a cross-functional global team
  • Strong English skills (written and spoken)
  • Flexibility, willingness to travel
  • Excellent MS Office skills, Excel & PowerPoint
