About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Costing Manager to join our team at Dematic. As a key member of our Solution Development department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful implementation and ongoing development of our Quotation Management Application (QMA).

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze costing data and collaborate with relevant disciplines to continuously improve the EMEA QMA costing model.
  2. Update the EMEA maestro services catalogue and EMEA QMA calculations.
  3. Communicate EMEA needs, prioritize bugs and enhancements, and advocate for improvements to the group's tools.
  4. Focus on streamlining the costing process and aid in the development of harmonized standard costing using highly automated tools.
  5. Provide training and assistance to users, diagnosing QMA issues as needed.
  6. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of maestro / QMA in the Quality Assurance (QA) environment.
  7. Collaborate with software developers to define, schedule, and release enhancements to the QMA tool.
  8. Facilitate the exchange of ideas, developments, and feedback within the Costing Community.
  9. Offer project estimation support to the EMEA regions.
  10. Interface with global roles, such as Global Solution Owner (GSO) and Global Product Specialist (GPS), to advocate for EMEA requirements.
  11. Interact with other EMEA communities to drive harmonization across SD EMEA.
  12. Update costing models by identifying trends, considering stakeholders' views, and recommending solutions to improve performance, order intake, and execution.
  13. Collaborate with functional and global teams to support the delivery of global and regional costing-related priorities, fostering competitiveness and innovation.
  14. Resolve complex operational matters, foster relationships, and always act with integrity.
  15. Recommend solutions to improve performance and execution of the costing process within Solution Development (SD).
Requirements
  1. Experience in a global, fast-paced, innovative engineering / technology company.
  2. Proven track record of utilizing data and metrics to evaluate needs, drive change, and measure impact.
  3. Strong analytical skills using tools such as Excel, SQL databases, and Power BI.
  4. Demonstrated ability to build credibility and confidence with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  5. Ability to navigate competing priorities, flexibility, and adaptability in a constantly changing business environment.
  6. Strong Agile / Scrum experience is beneficial.
  7. Customer-focused mindset with a track record of delivering results.
  8. Unquestioned integrity, assertiveness, presence, and confidence in carrying out responsibilities.
