Job Title: Field Engineer Specialist

At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer Specialist to join our team. As a Field Engineer Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform on-site installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of our products.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting services to customers via telephone.
  • Accurately report service activity through our integrated management system.
  • Manage customer databases and track service calls, lead parts inventories, and job tasks.
  • Coordinate and perform stock counts of spare parts.
  • Carry out specific projects, tasks, or reports commissioned by the manager.
  • Communicate with the Technical Service management to advise on issues and support needs.
  • Attend national and international training courses as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of technical field service experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Experience in the medical equipment industry, preferably in clinical analyzers, is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and multidisciplinary knowledge in electronics, mechanics, and computing.
  • Intermediate level of English proficiency.
  • Maintain a valid car driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
