Job Title: Field Service Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Specialist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a Field Service Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering complete services on laboratory products, including installation, repairs, and preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform on-site installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of laboratory products.
  • Accurately report service activity through our integrated management system.
  • Must be proficient with customer management software to track service calls, lead parts inventories, and complete job tasks.
  • Keep control of spare parts and coordinate stock counts when required.
  • Carry out specific projects, tasks, or reports commissioned by the manager.
  • Keep the Technical Service management advised of issues and support needs.
  • Attend national and international training courses when required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, electrical, mechanical, electronics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of technical field service experience.
  • Customer friendliness and a professional demeanor.
  • Experience in the medical equipment industry, preferably in clinical analyzers, will be an advantage.
  • Multidisciplinary knowledge and experience in electronics, mechanics, and computing will be valued.
