Offshore Wind Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Sener, a leading company in the offshore wind sector. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the coordination and delivery of engineering services for offshore wind projects.
Key Responsibilities- Contract Strategy Support: Collaborate with our team to discuss and develop contract strategies for offshore wind projects.
- Market Overview: Provide in-depth market analysis and insights to support our project delivery.
- Installation Scheduling: Develop and manage installation schedules for the construction phase of offshore wind projects.
- Port Infrastructure Management: Engage with local ports and assess infrastructure upgrade requirements to ensure smooth project execution.
- Design Considerations: Assess and develop design considerations for equipment, noise mitigation, and innovative installation methodologies.
- Vessel Specifications: Define vessel specifications for the installation of floating wind turbines, mooring pre-lay, and cable designs.
- Technical Due Diligence: Deliver technical due diligence assignments supporting large and complex finance transitions.
- Project Management: Take a project role in the T&I Package within our Owner's Engineer service delivery, managing package interfaces, program, risk, and change management process.
- Tendering Process: Lead working packages relevant to the technical preparation, coordination, and management of the T&I scope tendering processes.
- Standardization: Support standardization processes and initiatives across the Wind Advisory team to develop standard and modular technical requirements for the contracting of the T&I scope.
We are looking for a candidate with at least 10 years of professional experience in offshore projects, with a deep understanding of offshore transport and installation matters. A Master's degree or PhD in civil, structural, marine, mechanical engineering, naval architecture, or equivalent is required.
Desirable SkillsSeveral years of work and practical experience in the design, manufacturing, and installation of offshore assets. Strong technical background in offshore wind projects, with desirable experience in offshore wind floating projects. Experience in project management, with an understanding of technical interfaces and project finance management. Knowledge of relevant European and American international codes and offshore standards.
