Sener is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our offshore wind projects. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the coordination and delivery of engineering services for offshore wind projects, requiring a comprehensive understanding of the offshore wind sector and strong technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Contract Strategy Discussions: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement contract strategies for offshore wind projects.
- Provide Market Overview: Analyze market trends and provide insights to inform project decisions.
- Develop Installation Schedules: Create detailed installation schedules for the construction phase of offshore wind projects.
- Engage with Local Ports: Work with local ports to determine infrastructure upgrade requirements and ensure smooth project execution.
- Assess Design Considerations: Evaluate design considerations, including equipment, noise mitigation, and innovative installation methodologies.
- Define Vessel Specifications: Develop vessel specifications for the installation of floating wind turbines, mooring, and cable designs.
- Deliver Technical Due Diligence: Conduct technical due diligence assignments to support large and complex finance transactions.
- Lead Project Teams: Manage and support multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Support Standardization Initiatives: Contribute to standardization processes and initiatives across the Wind Advisory team.
Requirements
- 10+ Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional experience in offshore projects, with at least 5 years in offshore wind energy.
- Master's Degree or PhD: Master's degree or PhD in civil, structural, marine, mechanical engineering, naval architecture, or equivalent.
- Strong Technical Background: Several years of work and practical experience in the design, manufacturing, and installation of offshore assets.
- Language Skills: Fluent in both written and spoken Spanish and English.
