Aerospace Safety Expert for Certification Projects

As part of our expansion plan, we are hiring an Aerospace Safety Engineer in Barcelona (option for remote work available). We seek an expert with a background in aerospace who can contribute to the development of groundbreaking projects.

Safety engineering is crucial for ensuring that product designs meet safety regulations. As a Safety Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and verifying that product designs, plans, and procedures comply with all applicable Safety regulations, including SAE ARP-4754 and SAE ARP 4761.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Identifying aircraft safety requirements through customer iteration and documentation review.
  • Proposing mitigation measures associated with procurement, manufacture, assembly, testing, operation, and maintenance of aircraft, aircraft systems, and support equipment.
  • Performing hazard analysis according to industry standards, such as Preliminary System Safety Assessment (PSSA), Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA), System Safety Assessment (SSA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), etc.

RAMs engineering plays a vital role in the reliability, maintainability, and availability of products. You will perform analyses like FMECA, Reliability Assessment (RA), and FRACAS process to ensure the safety and quality of products.

The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree in Aerospace / Aeronautics engineering or Bachelor's degree in Aerospace / Aeronautics / Mechanics, along with relevant experience in the field of Safety Engineering in Aeronautics. Experience in FAR CS-23 & CS-25 ,FAR CS-27, CS-29, SC-VTOL and SC-Light UAS will be positively valued.
