Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Planner to join our Operations team. As a Supply Chain Planner, you will play a critical role in managing the supply chain planning process, aligning various supply chain plans, and managing information to ensure a structured planning process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Supply Chain planning process, including aligning the various supply chain plans and managing information to have a structured planning process in place.
  • Coordinate periodic supply planning calls/meetings, actively participating in Supply Chain development aligned with Nutreco External standards.
  • Manage purchasing of materials to ensure an uninterrupted supply at optimum cost, planning volumes per raw material.
  • Manage long-term capacity planning in close cooperation with Demand Planning, Purchasing, and Operations management to support long-term business planning.
  • Lead and further shape the monthly planning meeting, discussing input from sales & marketing beforehand.
  • Timely inform the organization when stock levels, outbound deliveries, and/or customer service are at risk.
  • Prepare and monitor KPIs: OTIF, Rough Capacity Planning, stock levels.
  • Participate in various projects to improve the planning process.
  • Oversee and review the development and third-party execution against performance metrics, ensuring timely improvements to operational performance and productivity, as well as communication of planning information to internal and external functional departments.
  • Assess inventory levels at factories given the capacity and raw material plan for the coming period (next 15 months).

Requirements

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Economics, or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, preferably within the animal feed industry or alternatively any other industry such as FMCG.
