Project Overview:
This role is with ABB, a leading robotics and machine automation supplier, and a member of the myGwork platform for the LGBTQ+ business community.
The Project Manager will lead the execution of medium-size projects, ensuring all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications, and targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet committed project results.
- Establish the project execution approach and oversee planning, monitoring, and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
- Monitor and control project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
- Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risk, ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
- Drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
Requirements:
- Highly skilled in project management, cost control, planning, monitoring, and risk management.
- Familiar with the Industrial market, including automotive, food & beverage, logistics, etc., with a customer-focused approach and business orientation.
- At least 5 years of experience in Project Management.
- Enhanced knowledge of Office tools (Word, Excel) as well as cost control and planning (MS Project).
- Passionate about team management, adaptability, anticipation, and problem-solving.
- Degree in Engineering, mainly Industrial Engineering.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; other languages such as French or German will be considered a valuable plus.
- Hold a current driver's license valid in Spain and a Spanish work permit.
