Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at NSI Mobile Water Solutions, part of Saur EUROPE. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers can use our mobile water treatment equipment safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and Commissioning: Set up and install equipment at customer locations, ensuring it functions correctly and safely.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment remains in good working condition during the rental period. Troubleshoot and repair equipment if it breaks down or experiences technical issues.
  • Customer Support: Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding the proper use and maintenance of the equipment. Interact with customers to understand their equipment needs, provide guidance on equipment operation, and address any issues or concerns.
  • Documentation and Safety Compliance: Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance and repairs, including service reports, parts replacements, and work performed. Ensure equipment meets safety and regulatory standards.
  • Training and Inventory Management: Offer training to customers or rental staff on the proper operation and maintenance of the equipment. Monitor inventory of rental equipment, order spare parts when needed, and coordinate with suppliers.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: Formación Profesional (F.P.)/Vocational Diploma in Engineering or equivalent mechanical and electrical work experience. Proven work experience as Field Service Engineer (in the water industry) or a similar role.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Mechanical and electrical knowledge and skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe work environment. Good level of English language to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Language and Software Skills: Good level of Spanish language. Knowledge of Google Application Suite and/or Microsoft Office software packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and diagnostic tools used in equipment servicing.
  • Physical Fitness and Driving License: Ability to drive and work in various physically demanding environments. Possess a valid Driver's License to drive in the region.
