Technology Transfer Officer on Intellectual Property Rights

**Context and Mission**
As a Technology Transfer junior officer on IPR at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), you will play a crucial role in supporting the Technology Transfer Manager in managing the center's Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) portfolio. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of the center's IPR portfolio, identifying, registering, and protecting research results, and facilitating their exploitation.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage Intellectual Property Rights for the AINA project, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
- Develop and implement an IPR strategy for the AINA project results, aligning with the center's goals and objectives.
- Register and maintain accurate records of AINA project results, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
- Update and maintain the AINA portfolio of technologies, ensuring it remains current and relevant.
- Provide support in protecting BSC research project results, including identifying, registering, and protecting intellectual property.
- Assist in maintaining an updated BSC portfolio of technologies, ensuring it remains competitive and aligned with the center's goals.
**Requirements**
- Education: A Business or Law degree is preferred, but applicants with a Science or Engineering degree will also be considered.
- Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience: Knowledge of innovation, IPR management, or similar is a plus.
- Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience: Work experience is not essential, but candidates with knowledge of Computer and Computational Sciences, Start-ups creation, and fluency in English, Spanish, and Catalan will be at an advantage.
- Competences: Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
**Conditions**
- The position will be located at BSC within the Director's Department.

- The position is open-ended, with a contract duration linked to the project and budget duration.
