At Tokeny, we're revolutionizing the financial industry with our cutting-edge blockchain technology. We're seeking a visionary Head of Engineering to lead our talented engineering team and drive innovation in the development of our next-generation infrastructure.

About the Role

We're looking for a strategic thinker with a strong technical background to lead our engineering team. As a Head of Engineering, you'll work closely with our CTO and tech leads to develop and execute a comprehensive engineering strategy that aligns with our company goals. You'll be responsible for driving the development of scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions that meet customer needs and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive engineering strategy in collaboration with the CTO, tech leads, and management team.
  • Drive the development of scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions that meet customer needs and business requirements.
  • Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and maintenance.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for software development, quality assurance, and project management.
  • Champion agile methodologies and best practices within the engineering team, promoting a culture of agility, flexibility, and continuous delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to deliver successful outcomes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of post-academic experience in a software engineering role.
  • 3+ proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably as a Head of Engineering or Director of Technology.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in driving technological innovation within an organization.
  • Previous experience in finance and blockchain is a plus.
  • Fluent in English.
