About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer Compressors to join our team at MAHLE Electronics. As a key member of our product engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and releasing new standards for AC compressor components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with customers to edit and sign technical matrices for their specific applications.
  • Run and organize validation programs for AC compressor components.
  • Develop and release new standards for AC compressor components with the global team.
  • Develop and author technical validation reports and specifications for internal engineering and external customer documentation.
  • Participate in innovation, product cost, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Work with suppliers and manufacturing plants to ensure product design for high value and manufacturability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or higher.
  • Experience in development of precision products for 5+ years.
  • Understanding of principles of statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, strengths of materials, thermodynamics, physics (mechanical and electrical), and engineering design.
  • Experience with full product cycle life development up to production.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office and basic 3D modeling.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and oral skills – ability to write effective test reports.
  • Ability to manage time and organize effectively with multiple projects.
