The Roche Diagnostics Global Customer Experience and Solution Design Team is seeking a seasoned Interaction Design Lead to spearhead the transformation of Roche User Interface and Product design, driving innovation in the healthcare industry.

As a key member of the CXSD team, you will collaborate with international designers to bring the voice of customers to the forefront of Roche Diagnostics decisions, designing seamless patient-centric experiences across our portfolio of products and services.

You will be responsible for leading the User Experience and User Interface Design to reimagine software and web services for laboratories and hospitals, creating a powerful ecosystem of applications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • You will be the voice of Roche users, customers, and patients in every product conversation, delivering excellent product experiences and high-quality interface prototypes.
  • Creating and facilitating workshops with product teams to gather system-level information and coordinate design deliverables.
  • Gathering system requirements and translating them into compelling UX workflows and interfaces.
  • Working with business teams, medical, and development teams to build world-class software applications and solutions.
  • Closely collaborating with the Design System Lead and Roche design community to improve the design system language and best practices.
  • Advocating for accessibility, standards, and usability, mentoring junior UX and IxD designers.

Requirements:

  • More than 10 years of experience in providing design direction, delivering exceptional digital products.
  • Strong grasp of design system applications and shared design libraries.
  • Excellent abilities in user-centric design, interaction design, visual design, motion design.
  • Proficient in Figma, components libraries, interactive prototyping.
  • Experience in creating, facilitating, and analyzing workshops and co-design sessions.
  • Expertise in front-end technologies (HTML/CSS, Javascript, WebComponents) and frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Vue).
