About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Green Hydrogen Consultant to join our Energy Systems Business Unit in SEMELA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and advisory services to our clients in the green hydrogen value chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute and manage green hydrogen related advisory projects, including technology review, conceptual design, technical specifications, procurement support, design review, report writing, and presentations.
  • Analyze new business opportunities, gather market intelligence, and ensure distribution of knowledge amongst relevant colleagues.
  • Build an internal network to gain and share knowledge and opportunities.
Requirements
  • Technical expertise in green hydrogen production.
  • Strong domain knowledge on the green hydrogen value chain, including electrolysis, compression, storage, and/or conversion to derivatives.
  • Economic/business skills to support the growth of financial transactions involving hydrogen.
  • Dynamic and enthusiastic team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivery and results.
  • Analysis and judgement skills, with the ability to quickly understand and analyze complex issues.
  • Networking skills, with experience of building long-term client relationships.
  • Work ethic, with a strong commitment to the company's principles, vision, and values.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Project development experience in consultancy and/or engineering tasks, particularly in energy storage or renewables.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering and/or process engineering integration architectures.
  • Knowledge of renewables (wind, PV) technology and project development.
  • Familiarity with contracts, including green PPAs, HPAs, construction, supply, operations, interconnection, offtake, and/or asset management contracts.
