Quality Assurance Engineer

ADP is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our development team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated tests using Playwright for UI, API, visual, and accessibility testing. You will work closely with developers to ensure testability of features and implement best practices in test automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests using Playwright
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure testability of features
  • Analyze test results, report issues, and work closely with the development team to resolve defects
  • Manual testing: create and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements
  • Regression testing: perform regression testing for new releases and ensure that existing functionalities remain intact
  • Defect management: log, track, and prioritize defects in the issue tracking system

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on automation testing using Playwright and also in Manual Testing
  • Experience with a programming language such as Javascript, Typescript
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and visual testing tools
  • Familiarity with accessibility testing standards (e.g., WCAG) and tools (e.g., Axe, Pa11y)
