Quality Assurance Engineer

ADP is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our development team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cloud-based AI and machine learning-enhanced payroll, tax, HR, and benefits solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests using Playwright for UI, API, visual, and accessibility testing.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure testability of features and implement best practices in test automation.
  • Analyze test results, report issues, and work closely with the development team to resolve defects.
  • Create and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
  • Conduct manual testing activities, including exploratory testing, to ensure software quality.
  • Manage test cycles and track progress, ensuring thorough documentation of test results.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on automation testing using Playwright and also in Manual Testing.
  • Experience with a programming language such as Javascript, Typescript.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and visual testing tools.
  • Familiarity with accessibility testing standards (e.g., WCAG) and tools (e.g., Axe, Pa11y).
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Experience in creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test cycle documentation.
  • Proficiency in defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools.
