Join Our Team as a Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Freightos Group. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the excellence of our products by evaluating and testing them to identify and report defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members to understand project requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Guide releases through test planning, preparation, design, and execution tasks.
  • Design and implement functional and nonfunctional tests that cover all possible cases.
  • Maintain tests and ensure regression testing is performed to avoid regression issues.
  • Assess risks from development changes accurately and reflect them in test activities.
  • Identify, document, and report defects and issues to the development and product teams using issue tracking tools.
Requirements:
  • Basic requirements: Educational background related to Computer Science or a related field, 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer, experience testing web-based applications and APIs, solid experience in Jira or similar issue-tracking systems, strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Preferred requirements: Familiarity with Java or other object-oriented languages, familiarity with automation frameworks like Selenium, RestAssured, Cypress, certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
