Postdoctoral Researcher in Chip-Integrated Infrared Quantum Dot Lasers
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Quantum Flagship. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing chip-integrated infrared lasers based on colloidal quantum dot technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, fabricate, and characterize quantum dot laser structures
- Integrate quantum dot lasers on a chip for optical and/or electrical excitation
- Test proof-of-concept devices to demonstrate potential for real-world applications
- Collaborate with the research team to achieve project goals
Requirements:
- Ph.D.-equivalent degree in electrical/electronic engineering, physics, or material science
- Experience in the fabrication, characterization, and optimization of optoelectronic devices for photodetection based on solution-processed materials
- Hands-on expertise on nanofabrication tools and optical/photonic laser cavities
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to respect deadlines
