Accountant with German and English

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant with proficiency in German and English to join our team at Babel Profiles. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for supervising the invoicing processes, overseeing the aging of accounts receivable, and handling collection claims.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise the invoicing processes and ensure timely and accurate payment
- Oversee the aging of accounts receivable and handle collection claims in a professional manner
- Perform accounting entries, including bank cheque issuance and bank reconciliations
- Collaborate effectively with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
- Manage KPI analysis and reporting to provide insights for business growth
- Participate in ad hoc projects and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager
- Cooperate closely with the Finance Manager on accounts for specific regions
- Responsible for managing and reviewing expense reports, overseeing petty cash, performing clerical tasks, and handling specific client communications
Core Skills/Experience:
- Preferably a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting procedures
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with SAP
- Familiarity with German GAAP and excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure to meet tight deadlines
