We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant with expertise in German and English to join our team at Babel Profiles S.L. in Barcelona.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Oversee the aging of accounts receivable and handle collection claims in a timely manner.
  • Perform accounting entries, including bank cheque issuance and bank reconciliations, with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Collaborate effectively with suppliers to ensure seamless communication and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Manage KPI analysis and reporting to provide insights and recommendations for process improvement.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.
  • Cooperate closely with the Finance Manager on accounts for specific regions, ensuring alignment and consistency.
  • Responsible for managing and reviewing expense reports, overseeing petty cash, performing clerical tasks, and handling specific client communications.
Requirements
  • Preferably a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting procedures.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
  • Experience with SAP and familiarity with German GAAP is essential.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work accurately under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
