Accountant with German and English Language Skills

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant with native or fluent German language skills and full professional level English language skills to join our team at Babel Profiles.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise the invoicing processes and oversee the aging of accounts receivable and handle collection claims.
- Perform accounting entries, including bank cheque issuance and bank reconciliations.
- Collaborate effectively with suppliers and manage KPI analysis and reporting.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.
- Cooperate closely with the Finance Manager on accounts for specific regions.
- Responsible for managing and reviewing expense reports, overseeing petty cash, performing clerical tasks, and handling specific client communications.
Core Skills/Experience:
- Preferably a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting procedures.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with SAP and familiarity with German GAAP is essential.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
