As a Research Associate within Boston Consulting Group's Data and Research Service (DRS) function, you will play a vital role in our European DRS team. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality secondary specialized research in Due Diligence projects, contributing to BCG's client work and knowledge base. This will involve supporting proposals, client cases, and business or internal development initiatives by synthesizing, packaging, articulating, and delivering your findings in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research on commercial, multi-industry, and economic topics, summarizing data and facts into appropriate and timely output.
- Support research products, such as news alerts, company profiles, and contribute to knowledge capture and documentation.
- Engage with customers, working closely with senior team members to understand, scope, and deliver accurate, timely, and relevant data and information.
- Think analytically, committing to learning research analysis, including methods, databases, and tools, synthesis, and packaging.
- Work accurately in a fast-paced, deadline-focused environment, clarifying request objectives under direct supervision and discussing the most appropriate and timely research approach.
- Work well independently and in a collaborative team environment, guiding outsourcing partners in their research analysis and ensuring quality assurance.
- Seek professional development, welcoming the opportunity to grow and learn in an apprenticeship culture where you can quickly build and expand your research knowledge base to the next level.
- Communicate with confidence and ease, delivering messages in a concise manner with a positive disposition, and helping build a loyal customer base for DRS.
- Undergraduate degree minimum (a preference for a degree in business, economics, engineering, or sciences).
